About Life Outreach                                               

Life Outreach was founded in 1979 in Central North Carolina as a Fellowship that helps individuals from all walks of life come together to become "helping hands for hurting people."  We now have Outreach Centers based in Wilmington North Carolina, Lynchburg, Virginia and Westerville, Ohio that touch thousands of lives annually worldwide.

We have successfully completed over 80 Outreach Expeditions to Ukraine, Cuba, China and Central Africa in the last 28 years.

Life Outreach Has High Standards

• We refuse to enter foreign countries illegally
• We avoid "hype" and gimmicks in writing appeals to our donors
• We give a tax-deductible receipt to each donor annually
• We publish a newsletter that aims to be accurate and correct
• Ninety percent of all contributions are given by individual donors
• Life Outreach coordinates the efforts of many non-profit organizations but is not supported by them.
